Worth the money
4 out of 5 stars.

Don't expect the performance of an i7 processor. This has a Celeron processor inside as stated. It's well worth the money. Be prepared to purchase an external DVD to install the software. It needs RAM and a hard disk. I installed 8G bytes of RAM and a 500G byte hard disk. I played around with the machine, initially installing Linux Mint onto it. Mint detected all the hardware including the Bluetooth device. WiFi and Ethernet worked. When I tried watching Lightbox I found that the CPU lacked power to run Firefox in WINE. (On a Linux box one can run Firefox in a virtual machine so that the Silverlight plugin works.) After that I installed Windows 7. When it came to installing the drivers provided on the companion DVD, I thought that the PC had hung when installing the USB 3 drivers. Ended up I was impatient - the driver install invokes an update request from Microsoft and that takes about 30 minutes. I connected it via HDMI to a flat screen TV with a wireless keyboard/mouse and it has been running without any issues since. Skype, Lightbox and Netflix all work perfectly. It only has one audio connector which can be used for a microphone or powered speakers. I connected this to the input of my AV amplifier and used a USB camera/microphone combination for Skype. Two audio connectors would be a plus point. As I said it's value for money and runs Linux Mint perfectly.
