The DS20U-series is a fanless slim PC with a robust 1.3-litre metal chassis and exceptional connectivity. It supports two digital video outputs for UHD/4K displays and one tradi-tional D-Sub/VGA connector. The built-in Intel "Comet-Lake-U" processor provides ample performance for playback of 2160p/60 videos. Installation of components goes straight forward, as there is plenty of interior space for two memory modules, one 2.5" drive and an M.2-2280 SSD card. Optionally, an LTE module can be fitted in the 2,5" bay using the WWN03 accessory. Thanks to its passive cooling, the system is virtually maintenance-free and is approved for 24/7 nonstop operation. It is big on performance, yet extremely energy-efficient. The Shuttle XPC slim Barebone DS20U series is an ideal platform for professional applications such as digital signage, POS, Kiosk, Thin Client, Office PC and Multimedia.
Great connectivity and expansibility for multi-tasking:
DS20U series has built-in four native USB3.2 Gen2, four USB2.0, and one COM port supports RS232/422/485 that can be configured as Ring Indicator (RI) or external power supply with a voltage level of either 5V or 12V. With one M.2 2280 Type M slot expanded, it can support PCIe x4 or SATA 6Gb devices, providing higher transmission bandwidth to meet user’s requirements for high-performance devices.
Triple-display productivity:
DS20U series provides an HDMI 2.0a, a DisplayPort 1.2, and VGA outputs to reach three independent displays, supporting resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 / 3840 x 2160 @ 60Hz.
Hi-speed Gigabit LAN and Wireless Options:
The DS20U has excellent network connectivity with built-in dual Intel Gigabit LAN and supports 802.11 AC WiFi + BT and optional 4G LTE adapter kit(WWN03)* at the same time.
Fanless design:
With a passive thermal cooling system, the fanless design reduces the power consumption required by a fan as well as the cost of replacing fans on-site. Use solid-state disks and create an operational platform completely free of noise. The DS20U series is approved for 24/7 permanent operation and also suitable for 0 ~ 40 ⁰C working environments to meet the different commercial applications.
