Just before 4:00pm that same day (Monday) the courier delivered my parcel, and I live in Christchurch. It was packaged perfectly and wasn't damaged in any way. I unpacked the item (UPS), plugged it in and was up and running again with zero problems. Then I checked my email again and was advised by Nick that the freight charge that I had paid was more than expected and that I was being refunded some money! That is incredible!
