Yes. When you have an active Office 365 Family subscription, you receive automatic updates to the most up-to-date version of the Office software applications.

How do I renew my Microsoft 365 Family subscription?
A:
You can renew your subscription through Microsoft directly or you can renew from our store by purchasing another pre-paid 12 month subscription. When you renew early to the same Microsoft 365 plan that you already have, the additional time is added to your existing subscription. For example, if you have one month left on your current subscription and you purchase a 12 month pre-paid subscription, your subscription will run for 13 months.

What happens when my Microsoft 365 Family subscription ends?

You will receive notifications from Microsoft alerting you to your upcoming expiration. If your subscription expires, the Office software applications enter read-only mode, which means that you can view or print documents, but you can’t create/edit documents. To have full functionality again, just purchase a new Office 365 Family 12 month subscription.
